Famiglia Cotarella – Falesco
Marciliano
2014

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc that matures in barriques for 18 months

One of the greatest expressions of central Italian Cabernet. Deep opaque purple in color, classic aromas of cassis, herbs, and tobacco. Full-bodied. On the rich and extracted palate: notes of ripe dark berries, sweet black cherries, sweet oak, licorice, and spicy hints. Medium acidity, with ripe but elegant tannins coating the mouth. Long finish.
