About the wine: This wine is produced from 100% Sangiovese and aged for 16 months in Fofera barrels.
The wine is bright red with an aromatic bouquet of red fruit, and smoked flavours.
Medium-full body, with a ripe but balanced red and black berry character, with notes of minerality ,earth and spices. Medium-high acidity.
Full bodied with powerful structure and balanced tannins

About the Winery - Tassi Winery The Franci family, raised in Montalcino for many generations, started its business making honey by the patriarch of the family Guido Franci. Montalcino is located south of Chianti, and the climate is drier and warmer, the wines of the area - Brunello, are made from a local clone of Sangiovese grapes only.
